At age 14, actress Melinda Kinnaman was already making waves nationally and internationally, with her debut acting role as Saga in the Lasse Hallström-directed Swedish film My Life as a Dog (1985), nominated for two Academy Awards, winner of the US Golden Globe award for Best Foreign Language Film and 14 other prizes. Boosted into almost instant stardom, Melinda has been making movies and starring on television ever since, picking and choosing her roles. The sister of Joel Kinnaman, famous for The Killing, RoboCop, and Suicide Squad, the brunette babe is a dual citizen of both Sweden and the US, and speaks both Swedish and English fluently. And although the bulk of her acting work has been done in Sweden, she has popped up in the occasional US production, like as the young version of Mary of Nazareth in the TV movie Mary, Mother of Jesus(1999) with Christian Bale. Melinda plays stripper Minoo in the Swedish drama film Hus i helvete (2002), also known as All Hell Let Loose, and her bare breasts break loose for a watery flashback sequence. You can also catch a glimpse of nip in a 2015 episode of The Bridge, as well as see Melinda’s acting “O” face while she writhes on the bed. The actress has also claimed fame as Eva in The Serpent’s Way (1986) with Stellan Skarsgård, playing a a blind girl in Sunday’s Children (1992), Johanna in Slutspel (1997), Nadja in the TV mini-series Häxdansen (2008), Veronika in Into the Darkness (2020), and as Berit in Bergman Island (2021) with Mia Wasikowska. All that from a movie about a kid who thinks he’s a dog. Impressive.
